Winter Weather Advisory until 07:00AM Sunday

Heads up to those traveling along Interstate 90 over southeast Minnesota and Interstate 90 and 94 over west central into central Wisconsin: Heavy snow is reducing the visibility to 1/4 mile and quickly covering roads making travel hazardous. Heavy snowfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour expected through around 8 PM! Roads are quickly becoming slushy and slippery early this evening as the rain and wintry mix switches over to snow. The snowfall will be rather heavy for 1 to 3 hours after the onset with snowfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour possible. Visibility will be reduced to 1/4 mile at times. Plan on difficult to hazardous travel this evening.

* WHAT...Snow. Additional snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE...Portions of central, southwest and west central Wisconsin, northeast Iowa and southeast Minnesota.

* WHEN...Until 7 AM CDT Sunday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Patchy blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility.
