Wanted for Leaving the Scene
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Amityville Village Police detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the driver who left the scene of a motor vehicle crash that injured a pedestrian in Amityville in December.
A man driving a red sedan was exiting Sunoco Gas Station, located at 293 Broadway, at approximately 5 p.m. on December 1, 2018 when the vehicle struck a man. The pedestrian was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
