UPDATE: Gregory Brazee was arrested early this morning after a citizen spotted him at WalMart in Yucca Valley

DATE/TIME: Monday, March 4, 2019 6:57 p.m.

INCIDENT: PC 664/187 Attempt Murder

LOCATION: 6400 block of Avalon Ave, Yucca Valley

SUSPECT: Gregory Brazee, 35 years old, resident of San Bernardino

VICTIM: Confidential

SUMMARY:
On Wednesday, March 6, 2019, at approximately 6:40 am, deputies responded to the report of a citizen seeing Gregory Brazee at the WalMart in Yucca Valley. Brazee was arrested without incident and booked into the Morongo Basin Jail.

On Monday, March 4, 2019 at 6:57 p.m. deputies responded to a call of an unknown problem reference a female and juveniles screaming at the 6400 block of Avalon Ave in Yucca Valley. When deputies arrived on scene, the victim informed deputies Gregory Brazee broke inside her residence through her daughter’s bedroom window. The victim was inside of the bathroom bathing her two children when she heard her daughters window close. Brazee walked towards the victim, choked her with both his hands and shoved her against the bathroom wall. The victim feared for her life and believed she was going to die due to her beginning to lose consciousness. Brazee then punched the victim in the face causing swelling and redness. The victim was able to headbutt Brazee, causing him to let go. The victim grabbed all three of her children and placed them inside of her vehicle. Brazee left the location when he heard neighbors notifying law enforcement.
The victim and her children were relocated to a domestic violence shelter.

Gregory Brazee is still outstanding, and an arrest warrant was authored.
