Full Notification

An unknown group is again sending computer generated voice messages by telephone that advise the recipient they have "serious allegations" against them and will be taken into custody by local police if not resolved. THIS IS A SCAM! Do not respond and do not send money in any form. The Janesville Police Department asks that residents pass this information on to friends and family so that they do not become victims of fraud. The message currently being sent reads as follows:

“_⁠_⁠_⁠_ get expired in the next 24 working hours and once again expired after that you will be taken under custody by the local police as there are four serious allegations pressed on your name at this moment we would request you to get back to us so that we can discuss about this case before taking any legal action against you number to reach us is 888-484-6398 I repeat 888-484-6398 thank you…”
