Gov. Phil Murphy has declared a State of Emergency
Gov. Phil Murphy has declared a state of emergency for the state with the forecast of another winter snow storm. The declaration applies to all 21 New Jersey counties, warning of four to eight inches of snow Sunday night through Monday morning.
Expect travel to be difficul with snowfall rates of up to an inch per hour Sunday night, especially closer to Interstate 95.
WNY DPW plans to deploy plows and spreaders as needed, but motorists are urged to stay inside unless necessary once snow starts. As always, call WNYPD direct at (201) 295-5000 in the event of an emergency situation (downed wires, motor vehicle accident with injuries, power or health crisis, etc.)
Thank you and stay safe.
