The cooler waters of the Mississippi River combined with high dewpoints have created a conducive environment for dense development. Visibilities will be the lowest along the River. Conditions may be slower to improve than yesterday. The National Weather Service in New Orleans has issued a Dense Fog Advisory, which is in effect until 9 AM CST this morning.

* VISIBILITY...1/4 mile or less.

* IMPACTS...Visibilities will cause driving to be hazardous.

* AFFECTED AREAS: LOWER PLAQUEMINES ... ORLEANS ... UPPER JEFFERSON ... ST. CHARLES ... UPPER PLAQUEMINES ... ST. TAMMANY ... UPPER ST. BERNARD ... LOWER ST. BERNARD

Instructions:

A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving...slow down... use your headlights...and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
