Wanted Felon Flees From Police on Bicycle...But Loses the Race! 
On 02/28/2019 at 5:50 PM, Simi Valley Patrol Officers observed a known, wanted felon, Ryan Runcorn (34yrs) riding his bicycle in the 1600 block of Cochran St. Officers activated their lights and sirens in an attempt to stop Runcorn but he fled on his bicycle toward First St.
Two officers caught up to Runcorn on Cochran St. by the Toyota dealership but Runcorn continued to ignore the officers orders to stop. The officers tackled Runcorn off his bicycle and took him into custody.
Runcorn was transported to Simi Valley Hospital where he was treated for abrasions to both hands as well as an abrasion over his eye. Runcorn was booked in Ventura Main Jail for his Felony "no bail" warrant as well as resisting arrest.
Both officers sustained minor injuries but were not treated at the hospital and continued on their shift.
