B.M.V. ARRESTS

BURGLARY OF VEHICLES ARRESTS
On 2/20/2019 at 6:09 AM, Red Oak Police Department personnel were dispatched to Wal-Mart #3433 located at 100 Ryan Drive in reference to a theft in progress. The on duty dispatcher advised that the reporting person had stated that three black males had entered the store carrying backpacks and the alarm sounded as they exited the door. Red Oak Police Department personnel arrived on scene and made contact with the subjects in front of the business. Upon further investigation, several stolen items were recovered from the three subject’s backpacks, which matched property that had been stolen in four separate burglary of vehicle offenses that had occurred earlier. Each suspect was taken into custody for their alleged involvement in the burglary offenses along with engaging in organized criminal activity. Each subject was transported to the Red Oak Police Department and booked for the offenses. Red Oak Police Department personnel were able to ascertain that one of the three subjects had provided false or fictitious identifying information because of an active arrest warrant. Each subject was booked and secured into a cell without incident. Each subject has been identified below with their applicable charges and booking photos.

1. Suspect #1 has been identified as King, Tyler Jahari B/M 18 YOA of Lancaster, Texas and has been charged with his alleged involvement in the following offenses:
A. Burglary of a Vehicle (Arraigned $5,000 & Transferred to ECSO)
B. Burglary of a Vehicle (Arraigned $5,000 & Transferred to ECSO)
C. Burglary of a Vehicle (Arraigned $5,000 & Transferred to ECSO)
D. Burglary of a Vehicle (Arraigned $5,000 & Transferred to ECSO)
E. Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity (Arraigned $25,000 & Transferred to ECSO)
F. Fail to Identify Fugitive From Justice (Arraigned $1,500 & Transferred to ECSO)
G. Theft of Property $100-$750 [D.S.O. Warrant] (Arraigned $500 & Transferred to ECSO)

2. Suspect #2 has been identified as Griffin, Jermiah Elijah B/M 17 YOA of DeSoto, Texas and has been charged with his alleged involvement in the following offenses:
A. Burglary of a Vehicle (Arraigned $5,000 & Transferred to ECSO)
B. Burglary of a Vehicle (Arraigned $5,000 & Transferred to ECSO)
C. Burglary of a Vehicle (Arraigned $5,000 & Transferred to ECSO)
D. Burglary of a Vehicle (Arraigned $5,000 & Transferred to ECSO)
E. Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity (Arraigned $25,000 & Transferred to ECSO)

3. Suspect # 3 has been identified as Barnes, Taquavein Jasean B/M 17 YOA of Dallas, Texas and has been charged with his alleged involvement in the following offenses:
A. Burglary of a Vehicle (Arraigned $5,000 & Transferred to ECSO)
B. Burglary of a Vehicle (Arraigned $5,000 & Transferred to ECSO)
C. Burglary of a Vehicle (Arraigned $5,000 & Transferred to ECSO)
D. Burglary of a Vehicle (Arraigned $5,000 & Transferred to ECSO)
E. Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity (Arraigned $25,000 & Transferred to ECSO)

The Red Oak Police Department Criminal Investigation has several additional theft and burglary of vehicle investigations that remain active which have been linked to the above subjects. The Red Oak Police Department Criminal Investigation Division is in the process of obtaining additional arrest warrants for these offenses.
