To all citizens living and employed in Upper Macungie Township,
As you are probably aware, the Upper Macungie Township Police Department is currently conducting a criminal investigation into an incident that resulted in the death of an employee of CDS Inc., located at 8400 Industrial Blvd in Breinigsville. This incident, which occurred late Sunday night (February 24th), has been ruled a Homicide by the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office. Currently, detectives from our Criminal Investigations Division, along with detectives from the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office, are hard at work investigating this incident. As an agency, we feel it is important that those who live and work in Upper Macungie feel safe and secure.
At this time, we have no reason to believe that there is an ongoing risk or threat to the community, however, if that situation would change, please note that we will notify residents via Nixle and social media immediately.
