Subject: Bomb Threat – Prairie Phoenix Academy
On Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at approximately 8:20 a.m. the Sun Prairie Police Department was dispatched to the Prairie Phoenix Academy (PPA), 160 South Street, Sun Prairie, for the report of a bomb threat. A note was discovered in the school bathroom indicating the school would blow up at 8:30 a.m.
A thorough search was conducted which included K-9 Officers from Dane County Sheriff’s Office, Madison Police Department, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. Nothing suspicious has been located at this time.
All students and staff were safely evacuated to Cardinal Heights Upper Middle School.
