ATTENTION 

 

Savannah Utility Department has been forced to shut off the water service feed to Wharf Road and Arnold Lane in Pyburn and the Russell Chapel Lane area on North Clifton Road due to major leaks underneath the water surface in these areas. These areas will be without SUD water service until such time that the water recedes and we can address the damage to our infrastructure. For Russell Chapel Lane residents, we will be working with Hardin County Fire Dept and EMA in setting up a potable water distribution station at the old Cerro Gordo School or the District 4 fire department.  This outage will not affect residents on North Clifton road or the side roads branching off of Clifton Road. We have closed valves at Indian Creek to prevent infiltration and ensure that residents of the north Clifton road area will continue to have water service. We apologize in advance for this outage.
