Please only leave your home if absolutely necessary overnight. Travel is extremely hazardous at this time with road conditions rapidly changing with drifting snow, ice covered road surfaces, and sporadic whiteout conditions due to blowing/drifting snow!

Some roads inside the city are partially snow covered with drifting snow and/or ice covered where snow hasn’t drifted covering the road surface. Some areas inside the city next to large open fields have snow drifts on the road surface and are either down to one lane of travel or completely covered. One area that is impassable at this time is S. Lincoln Ave. between W. 14th St. and Airport Road.

The city street department is currently working at clearing the roads of snow. Please help them by not parking on the road as there is a snow emergency that has been declared through 8:00 A.M. to Tuesday 02-26-19.
