* TIMING...This afternoon and early this evening, and again Monday morning through midday. The strongest winds are expected late tonight through midday Monday.
* WINDS...West 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 55 mph this afternoon and evening, decreasing to 15 to 25 mph with gusts around 40 mph tonight, then increasing to 25 to 35 mph with gusts around 55 mph Monday morning through midday.
* IMPACTS...Strong winds may blow down limbs, trees, and power lines. Scattered power outages are expected. The persistent winds combined with saturated ground enhances the risk for downed trees.
* AFFECTED AREAS: FREDERICK ... WESTERN LOUDOUN ... JEFFERSON ... CLARKE
