High Wind Warning until 10:00AM Monday

The National Weather Service in Baltimore MD/Washington has issued a High Wind Warning, which is in effect from 1 PM Sunday to 10 AM EST Monday. The High Wind Watch is no longer in effect.

* TIMING...1 PM Sunday afternoon through 10 AM Monday morning.

* WINDS...Southwest Sunday afternoon, becoming west to northwest Sunday evening through Monday morning, sustained 25 to 40 mph with gusts around 60 mph. The strongest winds are most likely for elevations above 1500 feet.

* IMPACTS...There is the potential for downed trees, powerlines, and minor structural damage. Driving high profile vehicles in these conditions is dangerous. In addition, saturated ground and the prolonged nature of the winds may enhance the risk for downed trees.

* AFFECTED AREAS: EASTERN MINERAL ... CENTRAL AND EASTERN ALLEGANY ... MORGAN ... HAMPSHIRE ... WASHINGTON ... FREDERICK ... HARDY ... BERKELEY
