Deputies recover stolen vehicle and arrest suspect with drug paraphernalia

HS 11364(a): Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
LOCATION: 5500 block of Mission Blvd., unincorporated area of Ontario
SUSPECT: Ruben Rovira, 30-years-old, resident of Chino
SUMMARY: On Thursday, February 21, 2019, at approximately 8:41 A.M., deputies from the Chino Hills Sheriff's Station contacted Ruben Rovira at a car wash in the 5500 block of Mission Blvd. in the unincorporated area of Ontario. A records check of the vehicle showed it was reported stolen from the city of Chino. Rovira was arrested without incident.
Rovira was on felony probation and in possession of drug paraphernalia. Stolen property from previous thefts in the city of Chino was located inside the vehicle. Rovira was booked into the West Valley Detention Center for possession of a stolen vehicle, probation violation and possession of drug paraphernalia. The stolen vehicle was returned to the rightful owner and the stolen property was recovered by Chino Police Department pending further investigation.
