Damian Vasquez of Yucca Valley is arrested for Kidnapping, False Imprisonment and Sexual Battery

SUMMARY:
On Tuesday, February 19, 2019, deputies received a report of a sexual assault, which occurred in the town of Yucca Valley, on Saturday, February 16, 2019. After investigation, deputies learned Damian Vasquez and the victim went to a movie theater together. After the movie was complete, Vasquez was supposed to drive the victim to her residence. Vasquez instead parked in the 56400 block of Pima Trail, and sexually assaulted the victim.
On Thursday, February 21, 2019, Vasquez was located at his residence and arrested. Vasquez was booked at West Valley Detention Center for a violation of kidnapping, false imprisonment, and sexual battery.
