Hit and Run Reported on Vineyard Blvd

On 2/18/19, at approximately 2158 hours, MHPD officers were dispatched to a vehicle collision involving a pedestrian. Officers responded to the scene and contacted the involved pedestrian. The subject stated he was purposely hit by a dark colored pick-up truck while he was crossing Vineyard Blvd behind Safeway located at Tennant Station. After the collision, the dark colored pick-up fled the area without contacting the pedestrian. The pedestrian sustained minor injuries and was ultimately transported to the hospital by paramedics.

The pedestrian described the suspect vehicle as a full size black or dark gray pick-up truck possibly a Ford or Dodge Ram. The truck had a lift kit and mud tires with black rims. The truck had tinted driver and passenger side windows. The pedestrian was unable to provide a license plate for the suspect vehicle.
