The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Warning for the S.F. of the Forked Deer River. The National Weather Service in Memphis TN has issued a

* Flood Warning for the S.F. of the Forked Deer River at Jackson

* from Saturday February 23 until Monday February 25.

* At 10 AM Thursday the stage was...33.5 feet.

* Minor flooding is forecast.

* Maximum forecast stage of 34.5 feet on Sunday February 24.

* Flood stage is 34.0 feet.

* Forecast to rise above flood stage by Saturday February 23 and continue to rise to near 34.5 feet by Sunday February 24. The river will fall below flood stage by Monday February 25. At 35.0 feet, The east bank of the South Fork of the Forked Deer River overflows flooding low lying areas of the University of Tennessee Agriculture Experiment Station.
