Today we put the spotlight on Sergeant Edward O’Lano for Throwback Thursday. Sgt. O’Lano was hired by the Gloucester Township Police Department in 2007. In 2009 he was assigned to both the Operations Response Unit (ORU) and the Gloucester Township Special Response Team (SRT). In July of 2016 he was promoted to the rank of Sergeant where he served at the Deputy Watch Commander in the Patrol Division. In February 2017 he returned to Operations Response Unit (ORU) as the unit supervisor and was appointed the Special Response Team Leader.
