Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau Detectives are continuing to assist West Covina Police Department regarding the investigation of a shooting death of a male Hispanic adult.  The incident occurred on Wednesday February 20, 2019, at approximately 8:46 p.m., on the 1200 block of South Larimore Avenue, West Covina. 

  

Detectives have learned that Officers from West Covina Police Department responded to the above location regarding an assault with a deadly weapon, gunshot victim call. Upon their arrival they located a male victim and a female victim, both suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.  The male sustained at least one gunshot wound to the upper torso.  The female sustained at least one gunshot wound to the upper torso. 

Both victims were transported to a local hospital.  The male victim was pronounced dead at the hospital and the female victim is in stable condition.    

At this time, there is no known motive, or suspect information. 

The investigation is still ongoing.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide detectives are assisting West Covina Police Department with an investigation of a shooting death of a man. The incident occurred on Wednesday February 20, 2019, at approximately 8:46 p.m., on the 1200 block of South Larimore Avenue, West Covina.       
     
The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
