02/12/2019 @ 1513. Two men parked their vehicle in the alley and were removing items from the trunk of their vehicle when three men approached them while armed with a handgun and demanded their property. The victims complied and the suspects ran to a vehicle and fled the area. #00921

02/13/2019 @ 1115-1240. A man removed a wallet from the victim’s purse after it was left momentarily unattended in a shopping cart. #00937

02/13/2019 @ 2206. A man pried the front door open to gain access and removed several bottles of shampoo from a display area. #00952

 

Strong Arm Robbery

7700 block Santa Monica Blvd

02/13/2019 @ 2110. Three men removed two bottles of liquor and left the store without payment. When confronted in the parking lot, the suspects punched the victim in the face several times and then fled the area. #00951

02/15/2019 @ 1100-1705. An unknown suspect removed cash, blank checks, and two pairs of vintage tennis shoes from the office. No sign of forced entry. #01010

 

Strong Arm Robbery (Suspect Arrested)

8300 block Santa Monica Blvd

02/15/2019 @ 1600. A man removed two pints of ice cream and left the store without payment. When confronted by store security, the suspect pushed the victim and kneed him in the stomach in an attempt to escape. The suspect was arrested by responding deputies. #00987

02/15/2019 @ 0800. A man was walking his dog when a man approached him while armed with a knife and demanded his property. The victim complied and the suspect fled the area on foot. #01032
