Accumulating snowfall is expected to begin this morning & continue into this evening. Please plan accordingly & use caution on the roads.

The Borough of Madison is monitoring a weather system that is expected to result in accumulating snowfall, which will begin this morning and continue into this evening. Madison Department of Public Works is currently pre-treating borough roadways ahead of the snowfall, and, is prepared to plow and treat roadways as accumulation occurs. According to the latest forecast, Madison could see snow totals of 2.0 – 4.0” with a high chance of freezing rain up to 0.10”during the evening rush hour.

As always, residents are reminded that snow can cause slippery conditions on roads, sidewalks, bridges and untreated surfaces. Use caution on the roads! Slow down and leave plenty of distance ahead of you, as well as extra time to reach your destination. Updated, as necessary, will be made via Borough social media, www.Rosenet.org and Nixle.
