Deputies arrest Jerry Demor Gray of Adelanto, for threatening to harm his ex-girlfriend

LOCATION: 11200 block of Chamberlaine Way, Adelanto
SUSPECT: Jerry Demor Gray, 42 years-old, of Adelanto
VICTIM: 30-year-old female, resident of Adelanto
46-year-old male, resident of Adelanto
SUMMARY:
On Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 11:28 p.m., deputies received a 911 call from a residence in the 11200 block of Chamberlaine Way, in Adelanto.
According to the caller, her ex-boyfriend, Jerry Demor Gray, came to her residence and broke the window in her bedroom while she was sleeping. The victim could see Gray in her window holding a large piece of wood and he made threats to her safety. He then left the location in a White Toyota. The victim said no one was injured.
While deputies were responding to the victim’s residence, a second 911 call came in that Gray had returned with a small handgun and was at her window threatening her. When the victim and her boyfriend called 911, Gray left the residence. While on the way back to his vehicle, Gray used the gun to smash the rear window out of her vehicle.
Deputies located Gray hiding in his shower at his residence in the 10600 block of Bonanza Street, in Adelanto. Gray, who is currently on probation, was arrested without incident and booked at High Desert Detention Center where he is being held without bail.
