SUBJECT: Investigation Leads to Heroin Seizure

LOCATION: Seaview Square Mall

OFFICERS INVOLVED: Detectives Steven Walker and Raheem Carter

ACCUSED: Sophia Johnson, 32 year old female // Spring lake Heights
Ireanna Sims, 25 year old female // Freehold

NARRATIVE:
On Febuary 6th at approximately 5 pm Detectives Walker and Carter were conducting surveillance in the area of the Seaview Square Mall. A stop was conducted of the accused vehicle and detectives identified the driver as Sophia Johnson and the passenger as Ireanna Sims.

During the investigation Sophia Johnson was placed under arrest for being in possession of CDS and wandering. Sophia was found to be in possession of 119 bags of Heroin, prescription pills, and marijuana. Further investigation found that the passenger in the vehicle, Ireanna Sims, had an active warrant and was found to be in possession of burglar tools. Ireanna was also charged with wandering.

Charges include possession of Heroin and prescription drugs, possession with intent to distribute, wandering, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and possession of burglary tools. Sophia was turned over to MCCI and Ireanna was turned over to Woodbridge Police Dept.
