On February 17, 2019, at 11:40 p.m. Deputy Zach Lienemann conducted a traffic stop on a Gray 2002 Kia for disregarding a lighted signal on US 41 at CR 100 West. Upon stopping the vehicle on South Second Avenue in Princeton Deputy Lienemann identified the driver as 30 year old Brandon Wirth of Princeton. While speaking with Mr. Wirth Deputy Lienemann detected the odor of burnt Marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. At that point Deputy Lienemann began a roadside investigation that resulted in Mr. Wirth being taken into custody and transported to the Gibson County Jail. Upon arriving at the Gibson County Jail Mr. Wirth was charged with Possession of Paraphernalia and Possession of Marijuana. He remains in custody on a $550 bond.
