A storm from the Pacific Northwest will through western Utah today and tonight with the west to southwest flow ahead of this storm bringing widespread snowfall to portions of southwest and central Colorado and southeast Utah this evening through Tuesday.
* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 10 to 24 inches expected.
* WHERE...Northwest San Juan Mountains and Southwest San Juan Mountains.
* WHEN...From 3 PM this afternoon to 6 PM MST Tuesday. Heaviest snowfall is expected tonight and Monday morning.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. The cold wind chills as low as 20 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.
