Update: OSBI Investigates the Homicide of Randy Joe Gathers 
On February 16, 2019, at 8:54 AM, Binger Police Chief James Pate, requested OSBI investigative assistance for a suspicious death. Concerned citizens reported this morning they had not seen Randy Joe Gathers (DOB: 05/18/61) for some time. The Binger Police went to 414 West Johnny Bench St, Binger, Oklahoma, to contact Gathers. They found Gathers was deceased and requested the OSBI. On investigation, Gathers had injuries consistent with homicide.
