Synopsis: A 38 year old male was with a male friend, and walked up to the door of "Min Sok Chon" restaurant. They engaged in a conversation with some other patrons of the establishment. The conversation became an argument, and then devolved into a fight between the 38 year old male and one of the patrons. The fight moved into the parking lot. A second male patron from the restaurant produced a semi automatic handgun. That male shot the 38 year old victim four times. The victim was hit twice in the torso and twice in the lower body. The male shooter, and the other patron who was involved in the fight, ran from the scene southbound on Convoy St. The victim was transported to an area hospital by paramedics. The victim is undergoing surgery and is in critical condition. The shooter is described as an Asian male in his late 20's, 5'6" tall and thin to medium build. The suspect was wearing a black ski cap, black hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants and black slippers. SDPD Gang detectives responded to the scene and will be conducting the investigation.
