Detectives seek information to identify 3 suspects wanted for armed robbery

SUSPECT(S): Unknown – Three black male adults, approximate age: 20’s, wearing dark clothing

SUMMARY:
On Wednesday, February 12, 2019 at about 12:00 p.m., deputies from the Highland Station were dispatched to the Stater Bros store, located at 28988 Greenspot Rd. in reference to an armed robbery that just occurred with multiple suspects. Prior to arrival, information was received that a victim was hit by the suspect’s vehicle when they fled the scene.
During the course of the investigation, it was discovered two victims were approached by two black male suspects when they parked and exited their vehicle. One suspect forcefully stole a bag from the male victim, while the other suspect forcefully stole the female victim’s purse. The male victim struggled with the suspect and the suspect produced a handgun and pointed it at the victim. The suspects fled the scene and entered an awaiting vehicle, driven by a third suspect. The suspects were last seen leaving the parking lot.
Several good Samaritans observed the robbery and attempted to intervene. One Samaritan was struck by suspect’s vehicle when it fled the scene. The victim sustained moderate injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspects were described as black male adults in their 20’s and wearing dark clothing. The suspect vehicle was described as a gold sedan.
