Good morning,
The North Aurora Police Department would like you to be aware that a search is underway in and around the Orchard Estates subdivision on the Village’s northwest side for possible evidence related to Monday night’s Dixon armed robbery suspect search.  You can expect to see police officers and other public safety personnel in the area throughout the day.

There is no public danger or crime in progress at this time but we ask people to avoid the area if possible.  Residents will be able to get in and out of their homes and we don’t anticipate any road closures related to this event.

We ask that you keep any pets inside as much as possible for their safety as well as that of our searchers.
