Sheriff’s Office investigators and the families of victims are asking for information to help bring those responsible for Beaufort County’s unresolved murders to justice. Aside from forensic evidence, law enforcement officers and prosecutors rely heavily on witnesses with firsthand or other reliable information. Oftentimes, witnesses with pivotal information choose not to come forward for fear that their identities will be revealed.
