Marin CHP has initiated a a closure of Highway 37 this morning due to flooding on the roadway. The closure will be West bound traffic on Hwy 37 from Atherton Ave to the US 101 interchange. Please use alternate routes. The Novato Police Department would like to recommend that motorist avoid Olive Ave within the City of Novato. Olive Ave is primarily a residential street and has Olive school on the north side of the roadway. During school days this area already has increased vehicle and pedestrian traffic. The Novato Police Department would like to thank the community for their understanding and reminds motorists watch out for other vehicles and pedestrians, please drive safely.
