As of 5:00 pm all lanes of westbound I-80 between Chadbourne Rd and the Suisun Valley Rd exit have been re-opened. The only road closure still in effect is on Vanden Rd from Canon Rd to Peabody Rd.

Suisun Parkway has been re-opened.
We would like to clarify the prior information regarding the lane of westbound I-80 being closed. The lane was closed to allow a long reach excavator to remove debris from the creek running below the roadway level. This was done in an effort to prevent the interstate from flooding.

As of 1:30 pm Cordelia Rd between Link Road and Hale Ranch Road has been re-opened.
All other road closures are still in effect.
Empty sandbags are available at the City of Fairfield Corporation Yard, 420 Gregory Lane. They are outside of the front door Monday-Thursday from 7:30 am-4: 30 pm. There is a ten bag limit. Sand is available at both Allan Witt Park and Pittman Road at Link Road.

The following roads in the City of Fairfield are closed due to flooding:
- Vanden Road from Canon Road to Peabody Road
- Suisun Parkway at Abernathy Road to Business Center Drive at
Suisun Creek
- Cordelia Road from Link Road to Thomasson Lane
Please avoid these areas. These roads will be closed to all traffic for an unknown length of time. Please drive carefully and use caution on County roads surrounding Fairfield, as there may be unreported flooding as rain continues throughout the day.
Residents can pick up sandbags at the City of Fairfield Lot located at Pittman Road and Cordelia Road.
