The City of Palm Springs is experiencing significant rainfall. As a result, several areas of the city are flooding. The flooding has caused mudslides and has caused many street closures at this hour. The police and fire department personnel are responding to multiple emergencies, rescues and other city services related issues. As a result, emergency services are heavily impacted. We are asking that if you do not need to leave that you consider sheltering in place. Sheltering in place is a recommendation and not mandatory at this time.
