Novato is experiencing power outages, isolated roadway flooding, and debris in roadway. Please keep travel to a minimum.

The City of Novato is experiencing weather related issues resulting in power outages, isolated roadway flooding, and debris in the roadways.

The current roadways impacted by flooding are as follows: 

  • Simmons Lane: between San Marin Drive and Leese Lane
  • Commercial Blvd: All roads and businesses east of 9 Commercial Blvd
  • Paper Mill Creek Ct: South of 101 Paper Mill Creek Ct 
  • South Novato Blvd: from Nave Ct to Lark Ct
    • The following streets are inaccessible/flooded - Nave Ct, Joan Ct, Garden Ct, Lauren Ct
  • Center: Diablo Ave to South Novato Blvd
Due to a power outages in the downtown area of Novato, traffic signals and street lights are non-operational from Delong Ave to Redwood Blvd. Please drive with caution.

PG&E is aware of the outages and are working to get power restored.

There is a coordinated effort between The Novato Police Dept, The Marin County Sheriff's Office, Novato Fire District and The Novato Department of Public Works to respond to storm related calls for service. 

If possible please keep travel to a minimum. If you experience standing water in the roadway while driving please do not attempt to drive through it as the water depth may be unknown and cause you to become stuck.
