The National Weather Service in The San Francisco Bay Area has issued a
* Flood Warning for Urban Areas and Small Streams in... Southeastern Sonoma County in northern California...
* Until 1045 PM PST Wednesday.
* At 445 PM PST, reporting gauges indicate waters rises and or flooding of many creeks across region, especially near Highway 116 and west of Highway 101. These creeks include Green Valley Creek, Mark West Creek, Colgan Creek, Willow Brook and other small streams draining into the main stem rivers. After diminished rain rates earlier this afternoon, rain rates are expected to increase into the evening and overnight hours, prompting an excepted rise in runoff and water levels.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Santa Rosa, Petaluma, Rohnert Park, Windsor, Sebastopol, Cotati, Roseland, South Santa Rosa Cdp, Larkfield-Wikiup, Forestville, Guerneville, Graton and South Santa Rosa.
* AFFECTED AREAS: SONOMA, CA
