Suffolk County Police today arrested a man for driving with 53 license suspensions in North Babylon.
 
Darrell Morgan was driving a 2000 Mercedes SUV on the Sunrise Highway North Service Road, near Hubbard Path, at approximately 3:30 p.m. when police initiated a traffic stop. During the investigation, it was determined Morgan was driving with a fake New Jersey license plate. Officers determined his New York driver’s license had been suspended 53 times.
 
Morgan, 59, of Bay Shore, was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 1^st Degree, a Class E Felony. The Mercedes has been impounded. Morgan was released on an appearance ticket for a future court date at the Suffolk County First District Court in Central Islip.
