WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FROM 10 PM THIS EVENING TO 7 AM TUESDAY

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM THIS EVENING TO 7 AM EST TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Freezing rain and patchy freezing fog expected. Total ice
accumulations up to a tenth of an inch expected.

* WHERE...The Greenbrier Valley into Monroe County in West
Virginia, and the Alleghany Highlands, southern Shenandoah
Valley, as well as Craig, Botetourt, Amherst and Bedford
Counties in Virginia.

* WHEN...From 10 PM this evening to 7 AM EST Tuesday. Period of
greatest freezing rain accretions is after midnight into early
Tuesday morning.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions from a
light glaze of ice on bridges, sidewalks and roadways. The
hazardous conditions could impact the morning commute.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of freezing rain
will cause travel difficulties. Expect slippery roads. Slow down
and use caution while driving.
