*** Deuces Wild!! Two Vehicle Pursuits Within Two Hours of Each Other Lead to Arrest of Two Subjects ***

On Sunday evening, February 10, 2019, SVPD officers were involved in two separate pursuits within a two-hour period. The first occurred at approximately 7:55 PM and involved a subject who fled after an officer attempted to stop him for a traffic violation in the area of Vanessa St. and Eileen St. A pursuit ensued and ultimately entered the eastbound 118 freeway. The pursuit was terminated after speeds reached unsafe levels. Follow-up investigation revealed the suspect, Efrain Jimenez (age 19), might be returning to a local business to pick up his girlfriend. He did and was apprehended without incident.

The second pursuit began at approximately 9:43 PM and involved a known warrant suspect, Blaire Christopher (age 30), who fled after an officer attempted to stop his vehicle on the eastbound 118 freeway at Stearns St. A slow speed pursuit ensued and the vehicle ultimately exited at Rocky Peak Rd., where Christopher was taken into custody without incident.
