Synopsis: A 25 year old Hispanic male was attending a concert, at the Sports Arena, with friends. The group left the Sports Arena and started to walk S/B in the parking lot. The group became engaged in an argument with another group of Hispanic males. The argument turned into a fight just north of the AM/PM at 3500 Sports Arena. The fight continued to the south side of the AM/PM where an unknown male produced a handgun and fired a round. The round struck the 25 year old male in the thigh. The suspect fled in an unknown direction. The victim was unable to provide a description of the suspect. The victim was transported to an area hospital by paramedics with a non-life threatening injury. Western Division detectives will be conducting the investigation.
