Auto burglaries are on the rise and the Central Marin Police Authority is seeking your help to stop them 
Since January 2019, the Central Marin Police Authority has experienced a sudden increase in the number of auto burglaries occurring throughout our communities. These crimes are predominantly occurring at our shopping centers in Corte Madera and Larkspur and are committed mostly during the early evening hours.
The Central Marin Police Authority is actively working with our law enforcement partners in Marin County and our partners at the shopping centers to identify and arrest these suspects.
The best way to stop these crimes is to prevent them from ever happening. Please do not leave any valuables in plain sight, lock your doors, and roll up your windows. Be vigilant and be aware of your surroundings. If you see anything suspicious, please call the Central Marin Police Authority at (415) 927-5150 or if you see a crime in progress, call 9-1-1.
