Dense Fog Advisory until 06:00AM Thursday

The National Weather Service in Lincoln has issued a Dense Fog Advisory, which is in effect until 6 AM CST early this morning.

* VISIBILITIES...Visibilities of one quarter mile or less at times are expected.

* TIMING...The lowest visibilities will be widespread through 4 am. As sunrise approaches, visibility will start to improve as rain moves through the area.

* IMPACTS...Limited visibilities will make travel very difficult.

* AFFECTED AREAS: DOUGLAS ... SHELBY ... VERMILION ... PIATT ... MACON ... MOULTRIE ... CUMBERLAND ... COLES ... CHAMPAIGN ... EDGAR ... CLARK

Instructions:

A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
