                Detective Van Williams of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Kasey Lee Scott, 31, address listed as East Hunt Drive in Nebo, with second-degree arson.
                Shortly before 7 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 28, deputies and fire investigators responded to East Hunt Drive in reference to a house fire.
                The residence was owned by Kala Fink and occupied by Kasey and Lisa Scott.
                An investigation by the Sheriff’s Office, McDowell County Emergency Management and the N.C. State Bureau of Investigation led to Kasey Scott’s arrest.
