Wind Advisory until 03:00PM Thursday

..Areas of Dense Fog Will Continue Over Portions Northeast Arkansas, the Missouri Bootheel and far northwest Tennessee early this morning. Strong south winds will develop early Thursday morning and persist into the mid afternoon hours. The National Weather Service in Memphis has issued a Wind Advisory, which is in effect from 3 AM to 3 PM CST Thursday.

* WINDS...south winds becoming westerly at 15-25 mph with gusts to 40 mph.

* VISIBILITY...One quarter mile or less at times.

* TIMING...Through 8 AM Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Hazardous travel conditions.

* AFFECTED AREAS: CLAY ... PEMISCOT ... GREENE ... LAKE ... DUNKLIN

Instructions:

A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving, slow down, use low beam headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you. A Wind Advisory means that sustained winds of 25 mph or greater are expected. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
