On 02/05/19 at approximately 7:20 PM, SVPD officers were on a call in the area of Parkdale Ave. and Cochran St. when they were contacted by a citizen who reported two subjects checking vehicle door handles in the area. Once the officers cleared the call they were on, they located the subjects in the area and detained them. Their investigation led to the recovery of numerous items of stolen property, including credit cards belonging to various victims. The suspects were identified as Frank Ceja (age 23) of Moorpark and Bernardino Villalba (age 22) of Simi Valley. Ceja and Villalba were subsequently arrested and booked for possession of stolen property, possession of drug paraphernalia, and identity theft related offenses.

This was yet another example of the community working with the police department in reporting suspicious activity that led to the arrest of two subjects victimizing our community. Thank you!!
