Road conditions, winter storm 
Posted Tue., Feb. 5, 5:50 p.m. The National Weather Service is predicting rain, then snow showers in Sedona tonight. There is a possibility for icy road conditions and some snow accumulation this evening, overnight and Wednesday morning.
City personnel and equipment are prepared to respond to icy/snowy road conditions by plowing and applying cinders, and will focus first on emergency routes such as SR 89A, then large neighborhood connectors, then smaller neighborhood streets.
Winter weather conditions combined with hilly roads require slow, careful driving. If possible, it is generally best to postpone travel in the midst of a winter storm in Arizona's high country.
