#021 Robbery Attempt 
One male suspect approached a woman at the BBVA Compass Bank ATM (Fremont Blvd/Beacon) and attempted to rob her at gunpoint.  The female refused to comply with the suspect’s demands and he fled with no loss.  The suspect was described as a white male adult, 6 feet tall, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with a bandana of his lower face.  The suspect fled to the passenger side of dark gray sedan that was last seen northbound Fremont Blvd.  This may be related to other recent robberies throughout the Bay Area.  Investigations is conducting follow-up. 

#034 Auto Burglary
Visual Image Salon (5400 Mowry Ave).  No suspect info.  Loss is backpack and laptop. Investigated by CSO Allen.

#043 Auto Burglary
Target Pacific Commons.  Suspect vehicle was described as a silver Mercedes 4-door with green paper plates.  Suspect was described as an Asian male with dark hair wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and black jeans.  Investigated by Officer Dubowy.

#044 Auto Burglary
Chick-Fil-A Auto Mall. No suspect info.  Loss is laptop.

#004 Suspicious Circumstances 
Officers were dispatched to a residence regarding a possible assault with a deadly weapon.  Dispatch received a 911 call at 1:27 a.m., from a man who claimed his 75 year old friend was stabbed by two male suspects who forced entry into his home.  Officers arrived and located a 75 year old male who had two large kitchen knives stuck in his abdomen.  The victim was intoxicated and disoriented.  He reported to officers that while he was cooking, two unknown men entered his home and attacked him.  No forced entry was discovered and there was no loss.  Victim was transported to a trauma center to be treated for his non-life threatening injuries.  Detectives were called out and the scene was processed.  There were no witnesses and no one else was in the home at the time.  The man could not provide any detailed description of the suspects, only saying they were strong.

#010 Outside Assist - In Custody Stolen Vehicle Recovery / Resisting Arrest
While patrolling in the Charter Square shopping center, Officer Olvera and FTO J. Kennedy located an unoccupied stolen vehicle (Honda Accord) parked in the swim center parking lot near Motel 6 north.  Officers set up surveillance in an unmarked unit and called in additional resources.  A 26 year old San Jose man approached the vehicle and ignored officers’ commands. He took off running and officers engaged in a foot pursuit for a short distance.  The man continued to resist  and upon being contacted was Tased.  He was arrested.

#024 Warrant Arrest
Dispatch broadcast that a vehicle had set off an LPR camera near Washington /Mission.  The vehicle had a felony want for assault with a deadly weapon.  The suspect associated with the car had a warrant out of Union City.  Dispatch contacted UCPD and learned the suspect was likely headed to work.  While conducting surveillance in the area, Officer Han observed the suspect walking through a parking structure. The man was detained and taken into custody without incident.  Union City detectives arrived shortly thereafter and took custody of the suspect. 

#030 Robbery
Officers were dispatched to the TJ Maxx store at Pac Commons after a suspect pointed a gun at the loss prevention officer while they were trying to detain him.   The suspect fled in a grey Lexus sedan.  The suspect was described as a Filipino male, 25 years old, wearing a Raiders hat and gray jacket.  Case investigated by Officer Scherer.

#004 Battery
Officers responded to a large fight at the Extended Stay Hotel on Farwell Place.  Witnesses reported 16 people involved and several with injuries. Officers arrived on scene as the fight was ongoing and located a 25 year old man actively attacking another male on the ground.  After several commands, a Taser was deployed and the suspect was taken into custody.

#019 – Drunk in Public 
A caller reported that a man was in front of the 7-11 yelling.  Officers responded and contacted a 43 year old man who was determined to be intoxicated.  Officer Haugh arrested the man for public intoxication and was booked at Santa Rita Jail. 

#031 Strong-Arm Robbery Attempt
Officer Allsup investigated a strong-arm robbery attempt at Calphin Aquatic Club. A male victim was walking through the parking lot when an unknown suspect approached and punched him several times. The suspect was not able to take the victim’s gym bag and fled the scene on foot towards Motel 6.  The suspect was described as a black male adult in his 20’s, 6’, thin build, wearing a hoodie.

#003 Vandalism 
Officers were dispatched to the Panera Bakery on Mowry Ave. on the report of vandalism. An employee reported that a man broke a glass window and glass doorway belonging to the restaurant using a bottle. A 51 year old man was contacted and subsequently arrested for felony vandalism and public intoxication. Investigated by Officer Trzewieczynski. 

#P19014188  Traffic Collision -Niles Canyon
At 3:35 a.m., dispatch received a report of a vehicle collision in Niles Canyon. The heavy rain caused mud, rocks and boulders to slide into the roadway; ultimately contributing to several non-injury collisions taking place. The Canyon was subsequently closed tying up several FPD officers for roadblocks. Cal-Trans responded and began to clean up the roadway. At approximately 6:15 a.m., Cal-Trans reported the roadway was clear of debris and the Canyon was reopened. Nixle notification sent out.
