2019 Citizens Police Academy
The #Albany Police Department is currently accepting applications for the 2019 Citizens Police Academy that will begin on Wednesday, March 27, 2019.
Participants in the academy will learn about the day-to-day operations at the APD, as well gain experience in community policing, forensic investigations, criminal investigations and much more. Participants will drive police cars on the Emergency Vehicle Operations Course, visit with police horses and K-9's and also visit the APD range.
