Full Notification

Suffolk County Police last night arrested a man after he fatally stabbed a woman in Medford.
 
Robert Heise stabbed a 50-year-old woman during a dispute at 18 Pinegrove Ave., a boarding house where they were residents, at approximately 8:55 p.m. The woman, whose name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin, was transported to Long Island Community Hospital in East Patchogue where she was pronounced dead.
 
Heise, 42, was charged with Murder 2^nd Degree. He is being held overnight at the Sixth Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip in the morning. 
 
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
