INCIDENT: Possession of an Illegal Firearm & Possession of a Controlled Substance.

LOCATION: 1300 Block Lilyhill, Needles, CA.

SUSPECTS: Deana Tucker, age 51 of Needles
Kye Shutts, age 36 of Needles
Kenneth Mosier, age 37 Adelanto

SUMMARY:
On Monday, February 4, 2019, at 9:20 am, deputies served a search warrant on the 1300 block of Lillyhill Drive in the city of Needles. Deputies made contact with Deana Tucker who was found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine. Tucker was arrested and cite released in the field for possession of a controlled substance. Contact was made with Kenneth Mosier, who was found to be in possession of ammunition and a “sawed off shotgun.” Mosier was arrested without incident and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. Mosier was booked on the following charges; felon in possession of a firearm, felon in possession of a loaded firearm, and a felon in possession of ammunition. Mosier is being held on $50,000 bail, pending a court hearing. Kye Shutts was also contacted within the residence and arrested for two outstanding misdemeanor warrants. One warrant was for shoplifting, $100,000 bail, and one warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia, $75,000 bail. Shutts was later cite released.
